The dragonfly post was such a hit with my little guy, Jack, I had to make more. Be sure to check out the original symmetry art activity, if you haven’t already.

So, here’s five more activities to download for free! Once you print them, have your kid fold the paper down the dotted line. Then place the paper on a window (you can even use a small strip of tape to hold it in place). Next have your kid trace the lines to complete the other side.

A different way to do this activity is with paint. Have your kid paint the side with lines, then while the paint is still wet fold the paper along the dotted lines (with the paint on the inside). This will transfer the wet paint to the other side, completing the image. My kids preferred this method, it seemed very magical.

    Hi Rob,
found your Symmetry Art Activity Colouring-In Pages on Pinterest. Just wanted to thank you for making it available to others. It is so easy just to pin things and not to comment on it.

But my little girl is right now drawing and colouring your work in! And she loves them. Obviously the butterfly is her favorite! :-)

    Thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Manja

      Hi Manja,

Haha, I love hattifant…what a fun story about the name. Thank you so much for taking the time to say hi! It’s really nice to meet you.

I’m glad you’re little girl is enjoying the site, too. Please stay in touch!
