The next time you do an activity with your kids (even if it’s not an art activity), add music! See what happens…then next time you do another activity add a different genre of music…compare the difference. Kids love music just as much as you do, but how often do you include it in your day with them?
Quiet music can bring their intensity down, loud and fast music can do the opposite. Try to pick music that will compliment the atmosphere. On the other hand be sure to mix it up, and expose them to all kinds of music. You’ll be surprised that eventually they’ll begin making requests!
