Hey art friends! Today we’re drawing an Ankylosaurus, the dino with the club tail. This one is simple and friendly, and you get to pick the colors.
Art Supplies:
Markers
Marker paper
Personalization ideas: Swap the olive green for any dino colors, blue plates, or school colors. Change the club tail, add extra armor bumps, or draw a friend Ankylosaurus beside it. You can even add your name on a little rock.
For teachers and parents: This lesson is a great dinosaur unit, a names-and-traits science page (armor plus club tail), or a bulletin board where every kid’s Ankylosaurus shows a different color. It also pairs well with fine-motor practice and homemade fossil journals.
