Hey art friends! Today is one of my new favorite lessons because I’m drawing a Cotton Candy Machine! Cotton candy is one of my favorite treats, and the machine that makes it is just as magical as the candy itself. We drew cotton candy a long time ago, but this time I wanted to draw the actual machine with the fluffy pink and yellow cotton candy being spun up inside.

The fun part of drawing the cotton candy machine is making the cotton candy look SO fluffy. Use lots of pink, yellow, and a touch of orange to give it that just-spun rainbow look, then add white highlights for shine. The blue glass dome on top is so satisfying to color too. Once you finish, give your cotton candy any colors you want (blue raspberry? cotton candy grape? rainbow tie-dye?) or add a whole carnival scene around the machine!
