Hey art friends! Teryn and I are drawing a Cute Baby Seahorse today! We’ve drawn a seahorse before, but never a baby one, and this little guy is really cute. Our baby seahorse has a big round head, sweet baby eyes, and a curly tail.

The fun part of drawing baby animals is playing with the big-head, small-body proportions that make them look extra cute. Try your baby seahorse in different color combos, orange and purple, blue and green, rainbow, or your favorite color. Add an underwater background with seaweed, coral, little bubbles, and maybe a mom or dad seahorse right next to your baby. Baby seahorses actually cling onto seagrass with their curly tails, so you could draw yours holding on for extra realism!
