Hey art friends! Today I’m drawing a cute witch and her bubbling cauldron, and you can invent your own silly brew.
Art Supplies:
Markers
Marker paper
Personalization ideas: Change the witch’s colors and add stars or other patterns to her outfit. Give the brew a funny face, then add a broom, more bubbles, or a forest with a black cat and crows.
For teachers and parents: Try this as a Halloween drawing activity, then invite each artist to write a pretend recipe for their witch’s brew. Pause during the fast-forward extra drawing and coloring so everyone has time to add their own ideas. Compare the shadows under the broom, cauldron, and floating witch to see how a shadow can make something look like it’s touching the ground or hovering above it.
