“Austa-wasta where’s my pasta?”
He cracks me up and makes me smile everyday. I love drawing with my kids. I hope you enjoy drawing with us too.
This art project, how to draw a dinosaur with shapes, is meant for young artists. This technique teaches that big complicated objects can be created by combining smaller simple shapes. And when you take one line at a time, you can actually draw something that looks more difficult.
To all you parents and teachers, be sure to do these activities with your kids. They’ll have so much more fun, when they have their drawing friend with them 🙂
Inspiration
This drawing lesson was inspired by a quilt pattern that my own mom created. If you’re into quilting and looking for a new project, check out Thimble-Art! It’s quilting website, where my mom created a ton of fun patterns you can purchase (some are for free too). Here’s the link to the pattern that inspired this drawing lesson.
