Hey art friends! Today Austin and I are drawing a really Funny School Notebook! This lesson is simple, perfect for young artists, AND perfect for the back-to-school season. The best part? You get to write YOUR name right on the front cover.
Art Supplies:
Markers
Marker paper
Personalization ideas: Write your own name on the notebook label, pick your favorite color for the cover, add stickers (stars, hearts, apples, dinosaurs, unicorns, sports, or anything you love), give your notebook a pencil buddy or a whole set of school supply friends, or draw the notebook wearing a backpack ready for the first day.
For teachers and parents: This lesson is a great choice for a first-day-of-school name tag, a “meet the notebook” welcome activity, a personalized bulletin board with each kid’s drawing, a getting-to-know-you art project, or a supply-cover decoration exercise where kids design their notebook cover before the year starts.
