Hey art friends! St. Patrick’s Day is almost here, and Olivia and I are celebrating with one of our favorite types of lessons: a folding surprise! When the paper is folded, it looks like one cute shamrock, but when you open it up, there are two shamrocks hiding a pot of gold and a rainbow!
Art Supplies:

The trick to making a great folding surprise is lining everything up at the fold so the surprise works when you open it. Don’t worry if it takes a try or two to get it right. Once you see how it works, you can make folding surprises for all kinds of things! Try showing your friends and family and see if they can guess what’s hiding inside before you open it.
