Hey art friends! Today we’re drawing a pangolin! These amazing animals are sometimes called “walking pinecones” because they’re covered in overlapping scales. They’re the only mammals in the world that have them! Pangolins are also endangered, so drawing one is a fun way to learn about them.
Art Supplies:
Markers
Marker paper
The scales are the best part of this drawing. Don’t worry about making each one perfect. Just have fun layering them across the body, and they’ll look awesome. You could also try adding a little baby pangolin riding on the tail, since that’s actually how real pangolin babies (called pangopups!) travel with their moms!
