Hey art friends! Hadley and I are celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a really fun one, a piñata folding surprise! When the paper is folded, it looks like one cute, colorful piñata hanging from a rope. But when you open it up, BOOM, candy, lollipops, and confetti everywhere! It’s the most fun reveal we’ve done in a while.
Art Supplies:
Pencil
Eraser
Markers
Marker paper
The trick to a great folding surprise is making sure your drawings line up across the folds so the reveal looks seamless. Take your time with the colorful stripes on the piñata, the brighter and more rainbow-y, the better! Once you finish, fill the inside with as much candy and confetti as you can. The more, the more fun the reveal will be!
