Follow along and learn how to draw a seal!
We made these steps simple for young artists. Hads is helping me today, and she is five. She did a great job, and for the next time we draw this seal we’ll work on keeping the body thicker. Be sure to encourage your young artists with positive feedback and encourage them to practice…meaning draw it more than once. I like to challenge my own kids by saying, “Try drawing a family of seals.” This is a fun challenge, because they don’t feel like they’re just drawing the same thing over and over. It also gives them an opportunity to use creativity to change the seal to match different members of the family (daddy seal, mommy seal, brother seal).
