We’re learning how to draw a stag beetle, for our next insect!
These guys are wicked cool, they seem like they’re aliens from another planet…don’t they? My favorite part is their giant pinchers. One of the reasons I like drawing insects and think they are a great drawing exercise for kids, is that they are naturally segmented into different parts. This makes the steps naturally easier, because you’re building on each segment.
