Hey art friends! Today we’re drawing a traffic cone and baby bird by combining simple shapes. We start with a pencil for a triangle, a rectangle, and two circles, then turn those into the whole drawing. Grab your pencil and markers and let’s draw!

Personalization ideas: Keep the same shapes and change the cone colors, the stripe colors, or the bird. Swap the blue jay for a robin or a bird you saw outside, or give the cone a different face. After you finish, look around the room and see what else starts as a triangle, rectangle, or circle.
