Hey art friends! Today I’m drawing one of my favorite types of lessons, a folding surprise, and this one is extra magical! When the paper is folded up it looks like a shiny purple crystal egg, but when you open it up, the cutest little unicorn pops out from inside! If you’ve never done a folding surprise before, don’t worry. We take it one step at a time.
Art Supplies:
Markers

The trick to a great folding surprise is making sure your drawings line up across the folds so the reveal looks seamless. Take your time on the crystal egg, the more little facets you add, the more it’ll sparkle! You can also change up your unicorn’s mane colors or pick a different gem color for your egg. Try showing your family and see if they can guess what’s hiding inside before you open it up!
