How to draw an ant for young artists!
In this lesson, with Austin, I tried to keep it simple and just work on two fundamentals. We practiced drawing circles and mixed two primary colors (blue and yellow) to make one secondary color (green). Oil pastels work great for mixing, but you could also use paint.
With your young artists remember to keep the directed portion, short and fun! Then let them go nuts and fill the paper with anything they choose.
