Hey art friends! Today Olivia and I are getting ready for back to school by drawing Pickle the Axolotl! Pickle is one of our favorite AFKH friends, and today he’s wearing his backpack and getting SUPER excited for a new school year.

Our Pickle has all his classic details: the pink axolotl body, the sweet kawaii face with big sparkly eyes, the little frilly gills on the sides of his head, plus his brand-new school outfit (bright shirt, cozy shorts, backpack).
Personalization ideas: Draw your own school outfit on Pickle (school uniform, favorite T-shirt, favorite colors), give him different school supplies (books, pencils, a lunchbox), or draw a whole first-day-of-school scene with the classroom, playground, or bus.
