Hey art friends! Austin and I are wrapping up our America 250 series with a firework drawing for Independence Day! Our firework is a fun rocket-style character with red and white stripes, a blue tip and tail full of stars, and a fun little face. It’s launching straight up with fire and sparks all around!

The fun part of this drawing is the fireworks explosion around your rocket. Once you draw the main firework, go wild adding stars, sparks, confetti pieces, and streaks in red, blue, and yellow to fill the whole page. That’s what makes it feel like a real Independence Day fireworks show. Try adding a night sky behind it, more fireworks bursting up above, or the whole American flag flying nearby.
