When coloring this project, we used our colored pencils. We didn’t have the right blue and the right grey, so we mixed colors. The blue we had was too dark so we added white. And we didn’t have a dark grey, so we first used black (and pressed lightly), then we used white on top of the black.
Encourage your kids, if they don’t have the exact color needed, to mix colors they do have and create the right color. This can sometimes be the funnest part of the project.
