Spring is here and Hadley and I had the best time drawing the cutest butterfly sitting on a big sunflower. We loved her so much that Hadley gave her the name Poppy! With her pink wings, little flowers on them, and big happy eyes, Poppy might just be our new favorite character.

This is a really fun drawing to practice because you get to use so many bright spring colors. Try giving Poppy different colored wings or putting her on a different type of flower. You could even draw a whole garden full of Poppy’s friends! We can’t wait to draw Poppy again soon.
