How to paint a sea turtle! This is a great activity to do with super young artists. You can work on and emphasize the circle shape and explain what happens when you add white and black to the same color.
White will make the color “lighter” and black will make the color “darker”.
When it comes to the paint, really any paint will work for this activity. We used acrylic, but tempera or watercolor would work fine too. I like using acrylic simply because the colors seem so much brighter than any other paint.
