Important Update About Our Markers and Marker Paper

We’ve been getting a lot of great questions from parents about our art supplies, especially our 80-piece marker set, so we wanted to share some updates and tips!

Why We’re Not Restocking the 80-Piece Marker Set

Our 80-piece marker set has been super popular, and we’re so thankful for all your support! However, it’s completely sold out, and we won’t be restocking this particular set.

That said, we’ll still be using our markers in our videos for a while, so your kids can keep following along with them. We’re also planning to introduce other marker brands in our lessons to help all kids and families feel included, no matter which markers they have at home.

Some of the new brands we’ll be testing and featuring in our videos include:

  • Ohuhu
  • Bianyo
  • Caliart
  • Alchilalart

These markers are great alternatives, and we can’t wait to show them in action during our lessons!

Why Marker Paper Matters

If you’re using alcohol-based markers like ours or the brands mentioned above, using marker paper can make a huge difference in your artwork! It helps keep the colors smooth, vibrant, and prevents ink from bleeding through the paper. Plus, marker paper extends your markers’ life, making them last much longer.

Our favorite is Canson marker paper. One thing to keep in mind is that this paper is one-sided. Be sure to use the correct side when you tear it out of the pad.

Create a Swatch Page for Your Markers

Here’s a helpful tip for all marker artists: create a swatch page for each set of markers you own. This is simply a page where you color a small sample of each marker and label it.

Why is this helpful? The color on the marker caps isn’t always accurate (it might tell you it’s red or blue, but not the exact shade). Having a swatch page makes it so much easier to choose the right color when you’re working on your art. Plus, it’s a great way to stay organized!

Our 12-Piece Marker Set Is Still Available

Even though the 80-piece set is gone, we still have our 12-piece set available in our shop. It’s a great option for artists who want to keep drawing with our markers.

A Quick Note About Shipping

Our shop ships to the U.S. only, and as we head into the busy holiday season, we’re seeing slightly longer shipping times. We’re doing everything we can to get orders out as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your patience!

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an automated email with a tracking number so you can keep an eye on its progress.

Thank You for Your Support!

We’re so grateful for your continued support and for being part of the Art for Kids Hub family. We love sharing art with you and your kids, and we’re excited to keep making creative, fun lessons together!

Happy drawing!
