Hey art friends! The World Cup is in full swing, so Austin and I are back with one of our favorite types of lessons, a folding surprise! This one is so fun. When the paper is folded, it just looks like a regular soccer ball, but when you open it up, the ball explodes with the word GOOAL and a burst of confetti! Just like a real World Cup celebration!
Art Supplies:
Pencil
Eraser
Markers
Marker paper
The trick to a great folding surprise is making sure your drawings line up across the folds so the reveal looks seamless. Take your time on the soccer ball pattern (those black pentagons and white hexagons), and don’t forget to make the GOOAL text really bold and exciting with the confetti popping out around it. You can change the confetti to your favorite team’s colors!
