Hey art friends! Today Hadley and I are introducing you to our newest AFKH character, Chompers the Crocodile! Chompers is a friendly little kawaii crocodile who lives in his cozy swamp home. He’s got bright green skin, a soft yellow belly, big sparkly eyes, and just enough teeth to look tough (but really he’s the sweetest).

The fun part of drawing Chompers is balancing his cute side with his cool reptile features, the spots on his back, the little fangs, the textured belly. We also drew him hanging out in his swamp habitat with cattails, grass, and rocks. Did you know real crocodiles live in wetland habitats just like this? Once you finish, try giving Chompers a friend, drawing him swimming, or adding more swamp details like fish or a sunset.
