Hey art friends! Teryn and I are drawing one of our brand NEW Art For Kids Hub characters today, meet Ocho the Octopus! Ocho has big sparkly eyes, a sweet kawaii smile, cute spots on his round head, and he’s holding his favorite bright balloon. Teryn drew Ocho’s girl best friend, Ochet, so they could be balloon buddies together!

Fun language fact: “Ocho” means EIGHT in Spanish, and octopuses have EIGHT arms. Perfect name!
The best part of drawing Ocho is that he’s SO fun to personalize. Try dressing him up in a suit and tie, a cute dress, a swimsuit, sunglasses, or a party hat. Change his balloon color, add different spots or stripes, give him more accessories, and draw a whole underwater scene around him with seaweed, coral, bubbles, and his best friend Ochet swimming right next to him.
