Hey art friends! Hadley and I are introducing you to our newest character today, Shelly the Sea Turtle! Shelly is a sweet little turtle who’s just learning how to swim. She has her goggles, her orange floaties, and a brave little smile, even though she’s a tiny bit nervous. We love her story because she reminds us that it’s okay to be new at things.

The fun part of drawing Shelly is giving her those adorable floaties and goggles. Take your time on her cute round shell, you can add as many spots or details as you like. Pick your favorite color for her goggles (we did pink and blue) and have fun with her bubbles in the water. Shelly is part of our growing AFKH character family, so keep an eye out for her as she learns more about the ocean!
