Hey art friends! Olivia and I are doing something a little different today, and it’s SO much fun. We’re making racing caterpillars! This is a craft and a game all in one. You make your caterpillar out of green construction paper, line it up at the start line, and race it to the finish by blowing through a straw.
Supplies:
Markers
Green construction paper
Scissors
A straw
The secret to a fast racing caterpillar is in the folds, the shape lets your caterpillar scoot forward when you blow on it through the straw. Make a few in different colors and have a race with your friends, family, or classmates! You can decorate your caterpillars with fun faces and patterns to tell them apart. This one is perfect for a group, so grab some buddies and see whose caterpillar crosses the finish line first!
